Description   The most magnificent coral inspired pewter platter. Intricate details of a natural coral immortalized in pewter. Perfect as a stunning serving piece for any dining table. Measures 8 inches in diameter. The top quality pewter used in these beautiful creations contains 90% tin and 10% silver, copper and antimony. It is completely lead free. Craftsmen make this pewter by melting tin in a cast iron pot. Copper dissolves in molten tin at a relatively low temperature. Once dissolved the antimony is added without the temperature going over 750 degrees. After cooling and thorough stirring the combined metal is poured into ingot molds. The whole process is done piece-by-piece. Inspired by beauty and harmony of nature, designer Anuphab Loyfar uses his work to express his appreciation of nature.
