Description   The most magnificent coral inspired pewter platter. Intricate details of a natural coral immortalized in pewter. Perfect as a stunning serving piece for any dining table. Measures 14 inches in diameter. This platter is slightly deeper (like a bowl). It's perfect for fruits and as a stunning centerpiece on your dining table. The top quality pewter used in these beautiful creations contains 90% tin and 10% silver, copper and antimony. It is completely lead free. Craftsmen make this pewter by melting tin in a cast iron pot. Copper dissolves in molten tin at a relatively low temperature. Once dissolved the antimony is added without the temperature going over 750 degrees. After cooling and thorough stirring the combined metal is poured into ingot molds.
